This was actually my first trip
since I have been in China, where I have actually left China, other than
trips back to the US. The most striking difference between China (and
there are many) is the population. China has 1.3 billion people (officially).
Mongolia, which actually has quite a large area, only has 2.4 million
people. About half of them live in Ulaanbaatar, which is the only city
with over 100,000 people. This is one of the busiest street corners in
Ulaanbaatar, and hence, one of the busiest street corners in all of Mongolia.
