Matters were made even more confusing as Ron held to his policy of telling people he was from China when they asked his nationality. When they asked him where in China he was from, he would reply, "heijing" which means "black capital," as opposed to "beijing" which means "north capital." Most people didn't get it, but at least we were entertained.
