Jingdezhen is a mid-sized city in Jiangxi province which is the most famous china (the porcelain stuff) producing city in China. Of course, "china" and "China" are two different words in Chinese, and Chinese people find it mildly humorous that they are represented by the same word in English. I guess it would be analagous to having the Chinese word for "hamburger" simply be "America." FYI: The Chinese word for hamburger actually is "hanbaobao."
