After two weeks in Xinjiang, we decided to begin the slow track back toward the East Coast of China. Lanzhou, Gansu was to be the first stop. Instead of spending 48 hours on a train, we foot the extra bill to fly. This shot, somewhere over the mountains in Xinjiang, was taken from the plane.
