Matsu (also the name of the religion) is practiced on Taiwan and several parts of China in close vicinity to Taiwan.  Meizhou Island is the birthplace of this religion, and therefore, many of its believers make a pilgrimage of sorts, to the island.  Here's another shot of Lilly with her father.
