Apparently Children's Day is an international holiday, but I had never heard about it until I came to China.  I can clearly recall on several occasions when I was a child asking my parents, "There is Father's Day, Mother's Day, and even Grandparents' Day.  Why isn't there a Children's Day?"  To which they would reply, "Every day is Children's Day."  What a crock of shit!
